Learning about each other and from each other!

The Giant Panda
Poor river dolphin!
The beautiful Siberian Tiger
Here are some projects from Ms. Ryan's class that we displayed on the Green -Schools noticeboard. They are all about China. The girls learned about life in China long ago and today including yummy Chinese food! They researched lots of information on Chinese legends too and had great fun acting them out for their class! They listened to traditional Chinese  music and designed some brochures to advertise China to tourists using some Chinese characters.
The girls chose three animals to study- the Giant Panda, the Siberian Tiger and the Yangtze River Dolphin. They were very sad to hear that the Yangtze River Dolphin is now extinct due to the impact of humans on the river where it used to live. It is the first animal to become extinct in 50 years. :-(
