Here are the graphs showing the average amount of waste in one day in our school. How good at recycling is your class?

Our Action Plan!

At our workshop on Friday we brainstormed all the ways we could REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE our waste. Below you will find our main actions. We hope you will help us with them to make a huge difference in our school and community. We plan on working on these in the coming months.

  • Reuse old Christmas cards
  • Reuse old wasted markers/pens
  •  Reduce community waste
  • Reduce paper waste
  • Reduce paper towels
  • Reuse waste paper, plastic yoghurt pots and tetrapak milk cartons
  • Recycled art competition
  • Junior school recycling quiz
  •  Reduce community waste
  • Contact local media

If we work together we can make a difference!

                                                                            (Lauren & Maria Greenschool's Committee)
