Bhí lá glás agus paráid mór againn dón Lá Fhéile Phadraig. Bhí an-spóirt againn. Féach ar an pictíur deas.(Arpitha R16)
On Thursday 12th March the 3rd class girls from room 10 went to visit the Little Museum of Dublin on St. Stephen's green. The museum is full of objects from the past. Most of these objects were donated to the museum by ordinary people from Dublin. A lovely lady called Helena brought us on a tour of the museum and showed us lots of interesting artifacts and toys from the past - a lot of them simply found in people's attics! Have a look.... We began Aistear this week in Room 3 and we had great fun!. There were five stations and our theme for the week was 'Spring'. We got to plant Nasturtium seeds and recorded what we did after. Let's hope we will see some flowers over the next few weeks! We got to play in the flower shop, dig in the sand, play with the farm animals and make some lovely Spring flowers using playdoh. Have a look at how busy we were!
All this week we were celebrating National Scoot to School Week. This was to encourage all children who lived a short distance from the school, to get on their scooter and scoot to school. We had so much fun! Room 9 worked so hard collecting the findings and compiling the data on our bar chart each day. Our bar chart shows just how many local people put a huge effort into scooting, cycling, skating and walking to school, so well done to all! This will also show how much of a green and active school we are, as we continue to do our best to achieve our 6th Green Flag and our first Active Flag. Thanks for all the great support.
Sa rang ríomhaire, táimid ag caint Gaeilge le Ms. Edwards, ag imirt cluichí Gaeilge, ag déanamh powerpoint as Gaeilge agus Avatar podcasts as Gaeilge freisin. Féach ar na 'Focail Scamaill' a rinne rang a trí. Tá siad bunaithe ar na téama ÉÁDAÍ, SCOILE, BIA agus SPÓIRT. Nach bhfuil siad go hálainn! [In our computer classes, we are speaking Irish to Ms. Edwards, playing Irish games, making Irish powerpoints and avatar podcasts. Look at the 'Word Clouds' that 3rd class made. They're based on the themes of clothes, school, food and sport. Aren't they beautiful! ] We had great fun this morning in Room 4 doing our play rota. We have added sand and water play to our activities much to the delight of all! |
