We have been very busy in 5th class in the lead up to the Hallowe'en mid-term break. Last week we went to Griffith Park with Ms. O'Byrne's senior infants to look at the beautiful autumnal leaves and nuts that were to be seen.
Having enjoyed participating in maths week Mangahigh we were delighted to have two of our classmates, Sophie Burke and Feby Saji receive certs for being in the top ten in our school.
We look forward to Santry Gardai and their visit to our class on Friday to remind us of fire safety. We recently entered a Dublin Fire Brigade fire safety competition, We had to design posters with slogans to remind us all to be aware of the dangers of fire, especially coming up to Hallowe'en time.
