Ms Sheridan divided us into small groups of 3 or 4 children. Each group was given a battery, a bulb and two wires. She also left bulb holders and screwdrivers on our desks! We had to discover for ourselves how to make the bulbs light up. It was so much fun! We learned that for electrical energy to work, the wires must make a circle from the battery to the bulb and back again. This is called a circuit. Here are some photos of how we did it.
