We're getting very excited about Christmas in Ms Devlin's class as is everyone in St. Brigids. We've been preparing in lots of different ways from carrying out a special task each night for Advent to making Christmas decorations from recycled materials. Well done to all who participated in this competition and it was very tough to choose a winner. Abbey Talbot took first prize and Ellen Connolly got a prize for 2nd place. Fantastic effort by everyone. We've also been writing Christmas stories. We chose our favourite story starter and have worked very hard to build an exciting story. We did a story plan and a first draft. Then we edited the story ourselves before doing some partner and group editing. We are now ready to write our final draft and are very proud of our efforts. We are also really enjoying the Christmas songs for Drop Everything and Dance and had so much fun doing a JIngle Bell Run for our Active flag last week. See the Active Flag page for more details on this. Happy Christmas from Room 15. See the slideshow for some photos of our activities. | |
