5th class visited the Design Hub beside Dublin Castle today for a very informative workshop on projects which received awards from a total of 12,000 entries from around the world. 32 were given the Platinum award. These awards covered fashion, technology, transport etc. After an excellent guided tour, we then had to design our own creations in groups of 5. Our task was to build bridges. We had been studying bridges in geography yesterday, so this really helped us to understand what it takes for a bridge to be built. | |

I loved going there it was so interesting.I learned that someone made a perfume from a rock and I learned that there is a chandelier probably bigger then a house. It was also really fun making the bridges.
