This month all of us at St. Brigid's will be focusing on the value of 'Truth'. The related weekly sub-values this month will be 'Fairness' for the week leading up to the Easter holidays and then 'Being Honest' for the week following the holidays.
It's time again to take a look back at last month's values activities from around the school in our latest values slideshow . This time it's all about Right Action!
Ms Burke's values assembly yesterday kicked off our month of 'Right Action' for March. This month our individual weekly values will be showing respect, being reliable, having good manners and having a healthy diet. :o)
Our value for last month was 'Peace'. The related values that we focused on each week were being calm, self-discipline and mindfulness. Take a look at some of the peace-related activities going on around St. Brigid's during February in our latest values slideshow... :o)
During February we will be thinking about the value of 'Peace'. We kicked off the month on Monday with Ms Burke's peaceful values assembly, where we all practised some heartful meditation, listened to stories and quotes and sang the song 'A Little Peace'. The related values that we will be focusing on each week this month are being calm, self-discipline and mindfulness.
Last month our values focus was on 'Non-Violence'. The related weekly values were forgiveness, concern for others and care for the environment.
