- As part of a Government funded scheme we have 16 solar panels installed on part of the flat roof. The panels provide 6 kW of power hourly. The system is connected to the grid and the school was provided with a monitor to see how the input and output of electricity is used. - 2 phases of drainage works have now been approved under the Emergency Works scheme. Old copper pipes will be replaced by new aluminium pipes at the front of the building and in in the junior yard. It is hoped that these works will be completed over Summer. A Consultant has been appointed and the Consultant is now sourcing a Contractor to complete the works. - The exterior of the building will be painted over the Summer holidays. - Four temporary teachers and one job-share SNA will be appointed for the next academic year. -The Board thanked the Parents Association for funds raised to support the Heritage in School bread milling workshop and The Big Dig, together with the purchase of two Interactive Panels.

- The Anti-Bullying Policy was reviewed. An updated copy can be found on the school website www.stbrigid.ie -The Board congratulated staff on their successful recent Curriculum Evaluation of English. The full report will be issued to the school by the Department of Education, in due course. |
