It was a great experience to be on the radio for the first time. We were of course a little nervous at first but Mark from Near FM helped us feel better. He was also very funny.
Thank you to Mark and Holly's dad for inviting us on to spread the Green Message to the local community. We felt very proud of our school and all that we have achieived too. By Eabha, Holly and Emily. |

Well done to the 'Green Brigade' and to all classes who got behind the Greenschools motto of 'Coming together to protect the world forever'. Thanks to all of the teachers, cleaners and our caretaker Dave for their support too. KEEP UP the great recycling and reusing of waste. Our caretaker Dave said that if we keep working hard, he may even have one less big heavy bin to wheel up and down every week. WOW! We have also made headlines on the 'Global Action plan Ireland's' Facebook Page. They thought our recycled marker rainbow was so 'remarkable', they even made their profile photo. See some pictures and great results from the 2nd Waste Audit below: Don't forget to check out the Gallery section of our school website for more pictures from the fantastic Multicultural Week organised by Ms. McGrath in January!
