DRUMCONDRA EDUCATION CENTRE SPRING 2016 TALKING ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH & WELLBEING & OUR YOUNG PEOPLE: Exploring the Issues with Parents As their children’s primary educators parents will consider the importance of maintaining their own personal health and wellbeing and the contributory role it plays in developing the wellbeing of their children. A range of strategies will be suggested to help parents support their children’s wellbeing. In addition parents will explore attitudes, values and knowledge of substance use and how to approach this issue in an age appropriate way with young people. Dates: Thursday, March 3rd & 10th Time : 7.30-9.30 p.m. Venue : Drumcondra Education Centre Fee : €25.00 TO BOOK YOUR PLACE PLEASE PHONE 8576400 WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS. You can drop your bag/ bags into the school on: Thursday 21st January, 1.15 p.m. - 1.45 p.m. & 2.15 p.m. - 2.45 p.m. & Friday 22nd January, 8.30 a.m. - 10.00 a.m. Items accepted: adult & children’s clothes, shoes (tied together), hats, belts, bags & teddies. No bedding, duvets, pillows, curtains and towels Donations of unused mobile phones, tablets and cameras can also be handed in separately. Due to a serious lack of storage in the school, bags must only be dropped to school at the specified dates and times. Please return your bag/ bags to us and help us to have a really good collection!
