Very well done to Emily from Ms. Keogh's class who was the winner of our recent motto competition! Thanks to all the teachers and parents who encouraged their kids to take part and get blogging! It was really hard to choose a winner from a whopping 127 entries but Emily came out on top in the end!
Very well done to all who took part and of course special congratulations to Emily! So (drumroll) our new motto is: Switch off and save is the best way to behave!! Here in St. Brigid's, we are great at recycling so let's keep doing our bit to make our school and planet a beautiful place for everyone! We collect everything on the following list. Why not see if you have any of these items at home and we will gladly take them here in school!
At times during the year we hold a fund-raising clothes and textiles collection in school- many thanks to the PA for organising this! Watch out for any upcoming events!
Our staff also recycles our old computers and electrical goods where possible. |
