4 days to go!

There are now only 4days to go until we begin our waste audit in St. Brigid's with our facilitator Grainne Ryan. We are excited to see how we can improve our school even more! Watch this space! ;-)

We also need you all to put your thinking caps on this week to come up with a new Green Schools motto for our theme of Global Citizenship! The suggestion box is now in the hall beside the photocopier! We are looking forward to your entries!!!

What do those big words 'Global Citizenship' mean???!!

GLOBAL means the  world that we live in and CITIZENSHIP is like being a member or part of a team or club.

So basically our theme just means that we all have to work together to protect our planet no matter where we live on it!  

One of the ways we are doing this in our school and at home is by recycling. So let's all work together in this special club! We all have a very important part to play!
