Both 3rd classes went on tour last Tuesday to the Indoor Arena in the National Sports Campus (Blanchardstown). They had an absolutely amazing day. They got to take part in so many fun activities with some great coaches-gymnastics, athletics (long jump, high jump, relays, obstacle course..), football, basketball, trampolining, parachute games and more.
Well done to all the girls in 3rd class for being so great all day:-).

Our wonderful camogie team have won their semi-final are now getting the amazing opportunity to play their final against St. Helen's from Portmarnock in Croke Park on Tuesday 5th June at 2.40pm. We are so excited for them and proud of them. They had a very tough quarter final that went to extra time and they have really worked very hard and put in a huge effort to get here.
We hope they have a really wonderful day and we wish them the best of luck. We're very proud of you all.
This week as we continue with Non-Violence we are talking about 'Avoiding Hurting Others'. Room 20 are watching this for their homework but if anyone else would like to look at it we would love to hear your thoughts too.:-)

We held our annual Cake Sale in St. Brigid's on Friday 18th May. It was another hugely successful event and all proceeds will go to the Caroline Foundation, Caring for Pádraig and St. Brigid's School.
Huge thanks to Joan, our SNA who organises this event every year and puts so much work into preparing for it. Also a big thanks to Ms. Mc Guigan and 6th class who helped her run the day. Finally we couldn't do it without the support of all the children, parents and staff who bake as well as donate and support the cake sale so generously. We are very grateful and appreciate your thoughtfulness. Well done to the 5th and 6th class girls for putting on such a wonderful variety show this year with 'Brigid's Got Talent!' Here's a little look back at how it all went...! Happy memories :o) Our Value for the month of may in St. Brigid's is Non-Violence. Our weekly sub-vlues this month will be Care for the Environment, Recycling and Avoiding Hurting Others. :o)
