Well, another year has come and gone and what an action packed year it was. We ended this year with a Values assembly and sang all the wonderful, happy songs we sang throughout the whole year.
We shared an emotional goodbye with 6th class and wished them all the luck in the world for secondary school. We presented many children with Perfect Attendance Certificates. What an amazing achievement! We wished Ms. Gill and Ms. Moran all the best for the future and thanked all the people in the school that make our day flow nicely; our teachers, S.N.A's, Martina, Dave our care taker, Our cleaners, our parents association, Patrick our lollipop man and of course, last but not least Sheila. We hope you have a wonderful, happy and safe summer and we shall see you all again on the 30th August. Check out the class teachers and book lists below,

Well done to everyone from 4th and 5th class who took part in our lunchtime league for the last month. You all did really great. A special well done to all the girls who had never played football before. We need to give a big thanks to the 6th class who managed the teams, set up every day and along with some of the 5th class girls acted as referees and umpires. Another great term girls - well done on all the good work!
Both 4th classes attended a Blitz Day in Na Fianna this week with girls from other schools in the area. This was held in Na Fianna and was organised by our School's GPO Mark Mc Manus. It was a really fantastic day and we all had a great time. All teams played four or five games and we learned lots as well as meeting girls in other schools and making friends.
Thanks so much to Mark and Na Fianna for hosting this. Also to Niall Cooper and all the referees and teachers who helped out. We can't wait for next year. Congratulations to Scoil Mobhi and Corpus Christi who won the cup and the shield respectively:-) Check out the video below to see how much fun we had:-).
6th Class had their graduation last night before they leave St. Brigid's next week. We're very sad to see them go but we wish them well as they start their new chapter. We would like to thank the girls for all their work and the huge contribution they made to school life in so many ways. We'll miss you lots girls. We would also like to thank their teachers Ms.Phelan and Ms. Mc Guigan for their great work all year and in preparation for the graduation.
Have a look at the video below for some pictures from this year and earlier times in St. Brigid's. Another great summer harvest in St. Brigid's! The brief, as put to the class: A good musical instrument is one on which you could play the tune of Three Blind Mice and which is strong/durable, nicely decorated and loud enough to be heard from a distance. The instruments were nothing short of fantastic! The girls were tasked with playing their tune, solo or as part of a band and were marked on their performance and on the instrument itself. Thanks to everyone for the huge effort! Special mention to those at home, who helped out in so many ways. See our photos below. Motto/Slogan Competition
