Our 6th classes took a break from Confirmation preparation last week to take part in the 20x20 campaign around the visibility of girls in sport and to mark International Women's Day. Both classes joined together to play football and do some circuits which they set up themselves. Check out our video below.

Such an exciting day today when Jonny Cooper came to visit with the Sam Maguire. 3 in a row is a huge achievement and we're so glad we got to congratulate Jonny from Na Fianna who always makes time to come and visit us. #3 in a row
We really appreciate it. We would also like to thank Niall Cooper and Mark Mc Manus from Na Fianna for organising the visit and coming along. They had a very busy day. See some of the pictures in the video below, There is an event for the Dublin ladies All Ireland winning team tomorrow evening (Thursday 28th) in Na Fianna GAA club on Mobhi Road. There will be an open top bus parade to the club which will arrive at 7pm. All are welcome to go along and show your support for the girls. Well done on a great win from all of us in St. Brigid's.:-) Huge congratulations to the football team who have reached the semi -final of their Cumann na mBunscol league. They had a great game yesterday and we wish them the very best of luck against Garristown next week. Also check out our new training tops in the pictures below that arrived yesterday just in time for our big game. We love them.
We wish our camogie team the very best of luck in the finals of the Cumann na mBunscol League on Tuesday June 9th. They played a tight semi-final last week and we're so happy that they won. St. Brigid's is very lucky to have reached the finals in Croke Park in both football and camogie this year. We wish them the very best of luck. Our panel of 20 is made up of girls from 5th and 6th class. A big thank you also to Na Fianna for the use of their club for training and always facilitating us for home games. 4th, 5th and 6th classes will travel to Croke Park to support our team.
