Huge well done to our wonderful camogie team who won their Cumann na mBunscol Final in Croke Park last week. They worked so hard and fully deserved their great win. They are a credit to their school and their families both on and off the field. Thanks to p St. Helen's Portmarnock who were our opposition in a very sporting, exciting and evenly matched game.
There are a few people the girls, Ms Miley and Ms Devlin would like to thank especially for helping them to get there and for the really fantastic day they had: Firstly, the parents of the team who have been a really great support the whole way through the league. A special mention to Colin and Mark who helped the girls out in the run up to the final. βTo Ms Ryan who helps out often with training and matches and helped out with the team on the day. Also Ms Burke, all our teachers and classmates (4th-6th) who showed tremendous support during the game and made super banners. There was fantastic support from the whole school (staff and students) on the day which was lovely. We would also like to thank Mark Mc Manus (GPO) and Na Fianna for giving us the use of their facilities for both our training in football and camogie and our home games every year. We appreciate it.. Finally thanks to Nessa's Dad for being our photographer for the day and Emma's Dad for some great pictures and videos too. Some treasured memories! Have a look at the video of our day below. Enjoy!
