6th class R. 16, were delighted to receive an invitation to attend the CBI Book of the Year awards recently. Having closely read the books on the shortlist and voted for their favourite, they were delighted to hear the overall winner Oliver Jeffers being named. Several of their favourite Irish authors were also at the ceremony.Two girls, Sama and Gunjan from R.16 were thrilled to meet their favourite author, Sarah Crossan, author of Apple and Rain!
