Harvest Day 2017
Yesterday we had a beautiful Summer Harvest. Each class had a chance to go out to the school garden and help pick some food.
We had strawberries, onions, broad beans, potatoes, berries and garlic.
Terry and Dave worked hard all year removing overgrown trees and heavy growth around the garden. We now have soooo much more light shining on our garden and this has made our vegetables grow even bigger. Terry has extended our garden and in replace of the old trees he has planted lots of fruit trees. Dave has also begun on our outdoor classroom and will be completed in full by the new school year.
You are more than welcome to come in and have a look at our garden and outdoor classroom.
Huge thanks to Terry and Dave for all their work.
