Kid President-How to Disagree

29/1/2017

Room 15 are watching 'Kid President' for homework as part of their values reflection week. We all disagree sometimes and this can be healthy and good if we do it in the right way. It is  important to listen to each other.

Let's see what Kid President has to say about it.  Do you agree with him?

Treat people like their people.
If your stuck in a disagreement with someone distract them.
It is good to be different because if we were all the same it would be a boring world.

Here are some important points, how to disagree with other people :

• Make sure the other person knows it is nothing personal.

• It is all about different people having different ideas (opinions).

• The opinions have to be constructive, it should not be mean or upsetting in any way.

Here is a phrase :

"An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind."
Mahatma Gandhi

*I think it is important for people to have different opinions.
*Kid president said at one point that disagreement is okay.
