We started off our week with an assembly for Multicultural Week. Multicultural week will be running from Monday to Thursday this week, with lots of exciting activities planned. Ms. Burke told us that we have children and parents from over 21 countries in our school. Wow! Ms. McGrath then showed us a lovely powerpoint and went through the countries of the different classes and the exciting schedule she had organised for the classes. Then we sang our songs that we had learned for the special week. Junior Infants- 2nd class sang 'The More We Get Together' and the 3rd-6th classes sang 'Everyone Belongs' (Diversity). Have a listen below: Be sure to check back during the week and over the coming weeks for updates, photos and much more all to do with Multicultural Week!
