Sam Maguire Visit and Active Flag Raising on PhotoPeach

A huge thank you to Jonny Cooper (Na Fianna)  who took time out to visit us today with the Sam Maguire. It was a flying visit and he had lots of schools to fit in. He also raised our newly acquired Active Flag that we all worked very hard for last year and we were delighted he was able to do this. It was a really great day and there was great excitement in the hall on his arrival. Jonny met the Active Schools Commitee and the football team with their medals from Croke Park yesterday.A big well done and thank you to all the staff, pupils and ex -pupils who made this flag happen. A special word of thanks to those staff, students and ex students (Saran, Anna, Sarah Louise and Louise) who worked really hard on the committee all of last year. Good luck to all those who continue to keep our school active this year.
