October is busy in Room 14!
October has gotten off to a very busy start in Room 14!
Last week, Martin aka Edward Crane revisited us to sign copies of his super Havisham books.
On Wednesday (7th), we celebrated a great Cheerios Childline Breakfast morning together, we all took part in the auditions for our school musical Alice in Wonderland and three of our girls played on our school Gaelic football team that is through to the semi-final of our division!
On Thursday, Lana read the proclamation for our 1916 commemoration very confidently and we were lucky enough to be granted 'no homework' by our visitors from the army!
To finish the week, on Friday, we enjoyed a lovely sunny tour of the Botanic Gardens. It was so relaxing to see all the beautiful Autumn colours and we learned so much!
Have a look at what we have been up to!! ;-)
