Roald Dahl  Dress Up Day-Fourth Class

28/11/2014

Earlier this year Ms Devlin's class dressed up as their favourite Roald Dahl characters to celebrate Roald Dahl Day. Roald Dahl is celebrated all over the world in the month of September, the month of his birthday. We read Roald Dahl books throughout the month, swapped and shared books from home, had a Roald Dahl table quiz and took part in an intereactive webcast and live streaming of a draw along with Sir Quentin Blake, Roald Dahl's principal illustrator. This years celebrations were extra special because it was also a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. See our slideshow for some pictures of our dress up day.
