Visit of a German teacher to our school

We were delighted to have Barbara Binkert-Hug, a German teacher who worked on our Comenius project with us, visit our school today. Barbara visited several of our classes, and enjoyed speaking to and listening to the children during her visit. She was very impressed with the girls, and loved especially listening to them speaking Irish!
Below is a photo of her with the 5th class girls in Room 16.

It was so nice to have a teacher from another country come in and tell us about what subjects the children in Germany do in school and what time they start and finish school at.

It was fun listening to another person from a different country and learning about life in Germany.I was amazed to find out their schools started at 7;30 in the morning and finishing off at 1;00!

The German teacher came over to Ireland and she was called Barbra shewas very nice.
